To celebrate the upcoming publication of the report, a preview reception was held by TECO and LAEDC at the LA Area Chamber of Commerce in Downtown Los Angeles, on March 31st, 2015. The Director of  Taiwan Trade Center, Los Angeles, Moses Yen, attended the event on behalf of WTC Taipei, and delivered a message from the chairman of WTC Taipei, Francis K. H. Liang, congratulating the hosts on their work.

“This report is a valuable work that will initiate tremendous business opportunities and bring in an abundance of mutual benefits for our bilateral trade,” Liang said in the message. “As the Taiwanese government looks forward to further integrating Taiwan into the global economy, we are continuing to advocate for our participation in key multinational trade bodies, such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).” he added.
