Food Taipei set to wow buyers, visitors

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - The 26th Taipei International Food Show is set to take place from June 22 to June 25 in the capital of Taiwan, and is expected to draw over 65,000 professional buyers and visitors from home and abroad.

It will not only offer visitors a chance to sample a variety of food products, but will also serve as a platform for buyers to seek out new business opportunities in the industry, according to Taipei World Trade Center, one of the show’s organizers.

Jointly organized by Taipei World Trade Center, Taiwan Packaging Association, Taiwan Food & Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturers’ Association and Chan Chao International Co., Food Taipei this year will feature even more food products from around the world. The four-day event will be joined by 35 national pavilions, including the U.S., Korea, Japan, Spain, Canada, Brazil, France, Russia, Fiji and Poland.

In addition to a great diversity of impressive foods on display, various activities will be held alongside the show. Visitors can expect food tasting, live cooking shows, seminars on food safety management, and other promotional events, according to the organizers.

The food extravaganza, coinciding with Foodtech & Pharmatech Taipei, Taipei Pack, Taiwan HORECA and Halal Taiwan, will be held at Nangang Exhibition Hall and TWTC Hall 1.
