Workshop on CRISPR

WTC Shamshabad has collaborated with theย Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA), in collaboration with theย Agri Biotech Foundation - Indiaย (ABF) organized a comprehensive six-day workshop. Titled '๐—–๐—ฅ๐—œ๐—ฆ๐—ฃ๐—ฅ-๐—–๐—ฎ๐˜€: ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—”๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—š๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜€ ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฝ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฏ,' this immersive training aimed to equip participants with hands-on expertise in genome editing and CRISPR-Cas applications for enhanced crop yield, disease resistance, and improved nutritional profiles.

At the valedictory session, Prof.ย Reddanna Pallu, FABA's Executive President, stressed the importance of networking for career growth, while Dr. Rahul discussed challenges in CRISPR-Cas technology. Chief guest Ram Kaundinya, Director General of theย Federation Seed Industry of India, highlighted aligning research with market dynamics and integrating traditional breeding with advanced genetics. He also outlined diverse career prospects for life sciences students. Prof.ย Pakki Reddy Giddaluri, ABF's Director, shared workshop insights, and Dr. Gopal, the coordinator, expressed gratitude for a successful event.
