WTC Savannah announces support of Ocean Exchange

SAVANNAH, GA, U.S.A. – The Ocean Exchange’s™ Call for Global Solutions that Accelerate Sustainability. WTC Savannah is proud to announce its support of The Ocean Exchange™, an international platform that encourages positive impacts on environments, economies and health across industries, while respecting cultures across the world. Founded in 2010, The Ocean Exchange™ takes pride in working together to assemble solutions and empower organizations to achieve their goals.

Businesses, organizations and individuals are encouraged to submit their innovative solutions for The Ocean Exchange’s™ Solutions Exchange, hosted annually in Savannah, Georgia, U.S.A. Ten participants will be selected to compete for the Gulfstream Navigator Award and the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Orcelle Award. Both awards are prized at $100,000-US.

The 2013 Gulfstream Navigator Award was awarded to WITT Limited. The WITT Energy Generating Device, named “Whatever Input to Torsion Transfer,” is an environmentally friendly, energy-conserving device which converts natural energy to transferable energy and has the ability to operate in appliances large and small. 

The theme for the upcoming 4th annual competition is ACCELERATE SUSTAINABILITY – innovations generating economic growth and increased productivity, while reducing the use of nature’s resources and waste. WTC Savannah welcomes World Trade Centers to encourage businesses worldwide to submit Solutions at www.oceanexchange.org. For monetary awards, registration and pre-screening, applications must be completed by 11:59PM (GMT) May 5, 2014. Final applications must be submitted by 11:59PM (GMT) June 6, 2014, of which the top 10 solutions will be chosen to participate in The Ocean Exchange event scheduled for Oct. 5-7, 2014.
