Toyota to Export through Port of Savannah

Oct 01, 2014

SAVANNAH, GA, USA – On September 30, World Trade Center Savannah’s Founding Investor Partner, Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) announced that the Japanese automaker, Toyota will now be using the Port of Savannah to export their Hylander SUVs to Australia and New Zealand. The decision from Toyota is a result of the success the company has seen through exporting their Venza crossovers through GPA’s Port of Brunswick for the past year and a half. GPA has trusted and efficient roll-on/roll-off services in Savannah and Brunswick and has a strong outlook on FY2015 to exceed last year’s record of over 700,000 vehicles and heavy equipment moved through both terminals.
