Israeli Company Lands in Savannah, Georgia USA

SAVANNAH, GA, USA – On May 12, World Trade Center Savannah license holder, the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA), announced a new Israeli manufacturer will locate its first US plant in Savannah, Georgia USA. The Israeli manufacturer, Bram Industries, specializes in plastic products including kitchen storage containers and 100% biodegradable plastic bags. The Savannah Morning News reported that the Savannah facility would create 60 new jobs and bring $3 million in capital investment to the area. Bram Industries adds to the list of more than 40 Israeli companies who call the state of Georgia their home and is the third Israeli company to open a US manufacturing plant in southeast Georgia since 2013. Caesarstone, a manufacturer of high-quality quartz surfaces located in southeast Georgia in November 2013, followed by Haifa Group, a chemical manufacturer, which announced the opening of its Savannah facility in 2014.
