G.R.O.W returns to WTC Savannah

May 20, 2014

SAVANNAH, GA, USA - In collaboration with the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), World Trade Center Savannah (WTC Savannah) hosted a two-day event, Georgia Reaching Out Worldwide (G.R.O.W.), for the third consecutive year. This event connected six international buyers from Brazil, Canada, China, Israel and Japan with Georgia small and medium-sized businesses for one-on-one meetings.

The visiting international buyers met with 18 Georgia companies within the industries of agriculture, food and consumer goods, agribusiness and forestry. G.R.O.W. provides a great opportunity for Georgia suppliers to grow internationally without the expense of overseas travel

Following two days of one-on-one meetings, the international buyers and GDEcD representatives were greeted by WTC Savannah Partners and staff for a Low Country Boil at the Savannah Yacht Club.

G.R.O.W. is a State of Georgia program funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) Grant Program.
