Canadian Consul General visits Savannah, Georgia

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA, USA – On March 22-23, World Trade Center Savannah welcomed Louise Blais, Consul General to the Consulate General of Canada in Atlanta, Georgia for an introductory tour of Savannah. During her visit, Ms. Blais was able to tour the internationally renowned university, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) as well as the Canadian-headquartered and interior manufacturer, DIRTT Environmental Solutions, Inc. Ms. Blais also visited the Georgia Ports Authority’s Port of Savannah, which is currently the fourth largest and fastest growing port in North America. In an article published by the Savannah Morning News, Blais reflected on her visit, “The port was amazing. I had never seen anything like it. So much of the trade between our country and your state comes through this port.”
