ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - In November, the National Export Event again took place in Rotterdam, the beating heart of Dutch exports. On the initiative of DHL, ExportSelect, Fenedex, ING and RVO.nl more than 700 business representatives gathered at WTC Rotterdam to exchange their views on export.

The National Export Event started with a swirling discussion show. Presenter Rens de Jong took visitors along four continents and highlighted current issues with entrepreneurs, specialists and an economist. Knowledge and experiences were shared during the interactive workshops. This year, there were also consultation sessions with representatives of the Dutch Embassy network and other export specialists. Two companies won a prestigious export prize: Farm Frites International, one of the largest potato processing companies in the world, won the DHL Export Thropy 2014 and Mieke Veldhuis of Bugaboo International won the Export Manager Award 2014.
