Building Prosperity: SelectUSA Day 2 Focuses on Development and Diversity
After the Commerce Secretary's Address, Day 2 of the SelectUSA Investment Summit 🇺🇸 featured a session on 'Workforce Development: Economic Prosperity and Job Creation' by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, and US Virgin Islands Governor Albert Bryan.
Later a plenary Session on the 'Diverse American Workforce' by prominent CEOs followed, the session was conducted by Revathi Advaithi, CEO of Flex, Jimmy Etheredge, CEO of Accenture North America, Kelvin Huang, President, Americas Region of Delta Electronics Americas, and moderator Ines Hernandez, Counselor for Equity at the U.S. Department of Commerce. An armchair discussion with Secretary Gina Raimondo and Sarah Friar, CEO, Nextdoor on 'Women in Tech' followed. The day also included networking and exhibits as well as Live pitching sessions.
Academic sessions conducted on this day allowed attendees to gain insights and best practices from investors, thought leaders, and policymakers.
