Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Workshop - WTC Pune in association with K-PAC Mumbai

Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Workshop - WTC Pune for International Trade conducted by trainers from K-PAC saw huge industry interest with 40 + participants. Mr. Girish Nadkarni, a veteran Customs IRS officer of 1980 batch and corporate adviser to large companies was the key speaker at the Workshop. He clarified the nuances of AEO Scheme and its global acceptance and implementation.

Mr. Santosh Kumar Vatsa - Jt. Commissioner of Customs, Pune was Chief Guest. He highlighted the salient features of this Ease of Business initiative of the Government of India that promises to be a game changer for international trade - moving Indian Customs from a regulatory to facilitatory role.

Mr. Vinod Sharma President and Mr. Pradeep Kale, VP of Pune Customs House Agents Association - MoU partners of WTC Pune participated with their other members.

Pune corporates including all constituents of international trade - importers - exporters - government and customs officials - shipping line and Customs Brokers - logistics companies and consultancies benefited from the workshop.
