March 24, 2022, New Delhi:  WTC Noida hosts Procolombia and Colombian IT/ITeS delegation 

World Trade Center Roundtable Meet at Jasola, New Delhi organized in association with ProColombia with focus on strengthening trade & investment opportunities in IT/ITes sector. 

The Services arm of 13 World Trade Centers in India, Verbind facilitated the dialogue between Colombian IT/ITeS companies with Indian Government and Industry bodies. The Colombian delegation was led by the Commercial Attache’ and Director, ProColombia in India. Government and Industry representatives, and Nodal National Investment Promotion agency to work closely with an aim to boosting the participation of Colombian enterprises, entrepreneurs, and professionals to explore and have access to India market support by WTC Trade Infrastructure & WTC Services for setting up operations in India.

During this program WTCA Board Member and Joint President of WTC Services arm, Verbind, Ms. Khair Ull Nissa Sheikh has emphasized to bring all the Indian industry stakeholders from various states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, and Haryana on a common business platform and discuss some of the most crucial aspects concerning trade & investment facilitation into IT & ITeS sector. The primary focus is on MSMEs & SMEs, Large corporate for enhancing and building the potential of markets between the 2 countries.

“WTC Roundtable” at New Delhi was attended by Mr. Juan Esteban Sanchez, Commercial attaché and Director of ProColombia in India, Colombian IT & ITeS companies, WTC ideated the way forward for an ever-closer cooperation between WTC Noida/WTC GIFT City/WTC Chandigarh/WTC Faridabad and Colombian Companies while Government representative and industry experts in state and at national level to support the economic fundamentals and strengthen the industry & business ecosystem. 

This interactive program had insightful session with Dr. Sanjay Tyagi, Director STPI, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. Of India; Mr. Saurabh Aggarwal, NASSCOM; Ms. Simran Khurana & Ms. Mehar Ahluwalia, Invest India; Mr. Bijesh Roul, Advisor to WTC; Mr. Anuj Bhandari, Head - Applied Research and Marketing, WTC Noida and was attended by Mr. P K Alok, Advisor to WTC; Mr. Naresh Pal Singh, Sr. Lead, WTC Noida and Mr. Amrit Lal Batwal, Trade, Tenant & WTC Services etc.
