March, 2022 New Delhi: Verbind, the Services arm of 13 World Trade Centers in India, successfully facilitated the dialogue with Mr. Umar Hameed, Chairman, Carpet Export Promotion Council India in New Delhi. This meeting was organized at India Carpet Expo, NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi on March 28^th, 2022.

During this meeting program, WTCA Board Member and Joint President of WTC Services arm, Verbind, Ms. Khair Ull Nissa Sheikh has discussed various strategic initiatives through which WTC and CEPC can work together and extend support to members of both the organizations in India. She has also emphasized upon promoting of Indian Champions in Carpet/handicrafts business to global platform and inclusion of women entrepreneurs by encouraging them, transforming lives of women working on grassroots and making them future ready.

WTC and CEPC have also proposed to sign an MOU to further facilitate trade & investment opportunities for Indian enterprises in carpets/handicrafts/handmade products to its infrastructure in Noida, Chandigarh, and GIFT City. The primary focus is on MSMEs & SMEs, large corporate for enhancing and building the potential of carpet/handicraft markets in India.

The interactive session was also attended by Mr. Naresh Pal Singh, Sr. Lead, WTC Noida and Mr. Amrit Lal Batwal, Trade, Tenant & WTC Services, etc.
