The World Trade Center Marseille Provence was honored to host the WTCA ERM (the regional congress of European WTCs) on February 8, 9 and 10.
A delegation of 20 WTCs and 3 representatives of the World Trade Centers Association benefited from the spaces we provided for these working days.
The WTCMP wanted to offer the best experience to its European counterparts by welcoming them to the top of the Sky Center for a cocktail reception on Wednesday evening. The evening continued in a Colorbus for a discovery of Marseille by night. A moment particularly appreciated by our guests!
The working days were held at the City Center, punctuated by many inspiring presentations. For example, the presentation of Marseille as a destination by Philippe Stefanini from Provence Promotion, the round table led by Jean-Yves Baeteman (President of the WTC Club APEX) where Marseille exporting companies such as CMA-CGM or Beuchat shared their expertise and their vision of international business.
The second day was dedicated to eco-responsibility and was marked by the intervention of Jean-François Suhas from the Grand Port of Marseille and Célia de Bastier, events project manager, in charge of the WTCMP’s ISO 202121 certification project.
The gala evening organized at the Palais de la Bourse and the visit of the Cosquer Cave marked the guests’ stay.
Indeed, the evening of Thursday having taken place in the great hall of the oldest chamber of commerce in the world, our guests had the chance to enjoy the Sistine Chapel exhibition inaugurated 3 days before. The whole event was enhanced by two petanque courts installed by Isy Provence, culinary workshops prepared by Jean-David Traiteur and a lighting and DJ set orchestrated by EBS. All this for an unforgettable evening!
And to conclude this experience in Marseille, the WTCA ERM delegation discovered the Panier district on board the Petit Train de Marseille before diving into the replica of the Cosquer Cave.
The entire WTCMP team is proud to have prepared this congress which was a success!
