MARSEILLE, FRANCE - 300 people gathered on Wednesday, October 7th at the Palais de la Bourse to celebrate WTC Marseille Provence APEX Club’s 40th anniversary!

Club members and partners assembled to listen the economist Philippe Dessertine, who honored those present with an exceptional speech entitled: “France’s advantages facing the new global economic challenge”. A gala dinner followed the talk.

Laurent Cohen, President of the WTC Marseille Provence APEX club, expressed his emotion in his welcoming speech:

“Celebrating an anniversary is always an exceptional moment and I am especially proud and touched to have the honor this evening of opening the celebration of WTC Marseille Provence APEX club’s 40th anniversary. [..] 40 years of existence is a milestone and an opportunity to review the past. We are one of the oldest and most active export clubs in France. We have kept the pioneer spirit, which makes exporters great. We have developed a strong local and international network. These ties exist in the sole interest of enterprise and business development. For 40 years, the club members have benefited from being in close contact and have supported each other. For 40 years, we have been role models of solidarity.” 

Laurent Cohen also took the opportunity to thank the previous WTC Marseille Provence APEX Club Presidents, 13 in total, most of them among those present: “ Each contribution has been invaluable in building the club’s reputation and I am grateful for all that you have accomplished. If we are together this evening, it is thanks to your dedication. Your presence shows your loyalty to our association. Thank you.”
