KANSAS CITY, MO, USA - On August 24th, the first Midwest Export Challenge competition was hosted by UPS, Dentons, and World Trade Center Kansas City. The competition gave companies from Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas & Missouri a platform to showcase their business in an effort to win a grand prize of $25,000 worth of tools & resources needed to connect their product with the world. Ten finalists were selected and invited to pitch their business to a panel of judges on August 24th at the Think Big offices located in downtown Kansas City.

At the end of the Pitch-Off Event three companies took home top honors: Mobility Designed (Grand Prize Winner), 17°73° Innovation Co. (Second Prize Winner) and Fusion Gates (Third Prize Winner).
