ISTANBUL, TURKEY -Africallia – West Africa Business Development Forum took place in Burkina Faso capital, Ouagadougou, on February 26 – 28, 2014. World Trade Center Istanbul led a trade delegation of 25 participants, including 10 companies and WTC Istanbul Board Members. 

Artaş, engineering, production and contracting firm operating in the field of environmental protection technologies, which was part of WTC Istanbul delegation, signed a major agreement with Ouagadougou Municipality. This agreement was an important highlight of the event.

WTC Istanbul representatives had fruitful meetings with several companies, as well as public and government institutions. Our delegation has also organized a breakfast at Burkina Faso’s Turkish restaurant Sofra, in honor of Turkey’s Ambassador to Burkina Faso.
WTC Istanbul’s booth has drawn significant number of visitors that were interested in doing business with Turkey. Burkina Faso Prime Minister Mr. Beyon Luc Adolphe TIAO also visited our booth

Participants were very pleased with the matchmaking programs as well as investment and trade opportunities in Burkina Faso that were presented to them.
