Houston Thanks WTCA for Support after Hurricane

Sep 27, 2017

Dear WTCA friends:

This week marks one month since the Gulf Coast was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. World Trade Center Houston, part of the Greater Houston Partnership, thanks the WTCA network for your outpouring of concern and support during this time. We would like to affirm our solidarity with those affected by Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria, and those in Mexico City after the earthquake. Times like these show the importance of a strong global network like the WTCA.

Houston is open for businesses. Trade flows were impacted minimally for the year as Port Houston, Houston Airport System, and Rail were not significantly disrupted -all are back to normal operations. Houston is the No. 1 metro for exports in the United States and we continue to receive many opportunities for FDI in Houston. If your WTC network would like to visit Houston to see our vibrant region and the many opportunities it affords, then please do not hesitate to reach out to me and my team.

In Friendship,

Horacio Licon
