The Governor's Excellence in Exporting award was presented to two Colorado companies who have successfully entered new global markets. The WTC Denver honored Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock with a Global Community Leader award, the Ralph Peterson Global Business Community Leader Award, for his 12+ years of service as a global leader creating a welcoming environment to international businesspeople from around the globe.
The conference ended with a fun-filled international theme reception showcasing United Airlines and the Star Alliance direct flights to international destinations to Japan, Germany, the UK, Panama, and soon, Turkey. Attendees enjoyed delicious international drink and food as they networked with other attendees and made lasting business connections.
