LIMASSOL, CYRPUS - The largest Real Estate conference in Cyprus was a tremendous success. It was organised by the World Trade Center Cyprus & Delfi Partners & Co.
With participation of more than 250 delegates, the “Cyprus Business Hub: Let's Talk Real Estate" conference was the largest and most successful Real Estate conference held in Cyprus. The conference was held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Amathus Hotel in Limassol. The Conference’s objective was to create a forum for exchange of information and dialogue between the real estate sector professionals and the foreign delegates considering investment opportunities in Cyprus.
The Mayor of Limassol, Mr Nicos Nicolaides, welcomed all delegates to the City of Limassol and highlighted the advantages of the favourable climatic conditions, the excellent infrastructure as well as the highly skilled human resources available to conduct business.
The Chairman of the World Trade Center Cyprus, Mr. Frixos Savvides welcomed the distinguished speakers and participants from the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lebanon and Jordan), as well as from Cyprus. Mr. Savvides emphasized the important role played by the real estate sector in Cyprus and urged all professionals involved in this business sector to maintain professional and honest approach to all dealings with potential overseas investors in order to protect the reputation of this country as a viable investment destination.
Mr. Mufid Sukkar, Director of the World Trade Center Cyprus, focused on the strategic importance of Cyprus as a member of the European Union and as a connecting link between three continents; Europe, Asia and Africa. Welcoming the conference, Dr George Mountis, Managing Partner of Delfi Partners & Co, expressed the view that 2017 will bring significant changes in the economic environment and explained how these changes will be of key importance to prospective investors.
The conference attracted high-level professionals from Financial Institutions, Investment Funds, International and Local Professionals, as well as high net worth investors.
