Chongqing World Trade Center organized the "2011 Chongqing-Taiwan Franchise Cooperation Summit Forum"

With Taiwanese technology giants entering Chongqing and forming complete industrial clusters, Chongqing presented the huge opportunities for chain services that attract Taiwan businesses to the Gold Rush. 


On November 18, 2011, the second day of "Chongqing • Taiwan Week", "2011 Chongqing-Taiwan Franchise Cooperation Summit Forum" was organized jointly by the Chongqing World Trade Center and the Rising Sun International Real Estate Venture Capital, attracting hundreds of participants. The meeting was participated by well-known organizations, chain venture capital enterprises and chain management business people including Wang Chih-kang, Chairman of the board of the Taipei World Trade Center, Gu Yihua, Vice President of Shanghai Jiuru, Yan Qi, chairman of the board of Chongqing Taoranju Group and Xu Shengxiong, President of Chongqing City Chain Store & Franchise Association, who discussed the future opportunities for Chongqing and Taiwan franchise.


Many Taiwan chain enterprises are attracted by opportunities in Chongqing. But how to get a better understanding of Chongqing before entering the city? In the forum, many Taiwan chain enterprises indicated that Chongqing World Trade Center was "the best matchmaker".


The participants agreed that tertiary industry in Chongqing has great potential. However, before Taiwan chain enterprises enter the Chongqing market, they need a process to understand the Chongqing market and opportunities, in which a platform is needed to connect Chongqing market and foreign businesses. Therefore, participants from Taiwan chain enterprises believed that Chongqing World Trade Center, as the civil organization of economic and trade exchanges, plus the strategic cooperation agreement just signed with the Taipei World Trade Center, is an excellent platform connecting industries in Chongqing and Taiwan, and for economic and trade exchanges.
Chairwoman of Chongqing World Trade Center, Deputy Director General of the Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, Ms. Li Shirong also said in the forum that Chongqing World Trade Center would be a good "matchmaker" and help connect Chongqing and Taiwan enterprises. 


During the forum, gurus from chain enterprises, such as President of Association of Chain and Franchise Promotion, Taiwan, Mr. Xu Xianghong, Chairman of the board of Taiwan's largest venture capital companies CID Group Mr. Zhang Jingyi, chairwoman of the board of Chongqing Taoranju Group Ms. Yan Qi, also brainstormed on how to develop chain enterprises.
