WTC Chandigarh saw a Trade Delegation from China visiting them. Since the Chinese Delegation comprised of entrepreneurs, start ups and academics, the delegation was hence received at the Head Quarters of WTC Chandigarh at Delhi.

The delegation was led by Ms. Helen Lin, a premier associate representing WTC Quanzhou and WTC Zhengzhou. The hosts were headed by Ms. Khair Ull Nissa Shah, also representing the WTC Noida, WTC Noida CBD and WTC GIFT City. It was a healthy interaction between the Delegate members received, and a team of specialists invited by the WTC Chandigarh. The discussions revolved largely about these representatives of various industries, looking at making inroads into the Indian markets.

The Chinese Members represented the industries of Biotechnology, Natural Beauty Products, Eco-friendly Construction Materials, Adventure Tactical Gear, Financial Market Specialists, Education and Home Décor Accessories. The members wanted to make a clinical study on how they can explore the Indian Consumer markets for their respective Product lines.

The representatives also wanted to understand the nitty gritty of the regulatory environment to be met with, in order to open-up shop in India. For the Education industry however, the discussions were also on terms of Exchange Programs to be organized for Students of both Countries. As well as possibilities of organizing technical help and support were discussed, for setting up Centers of Excellence for the budding ESDM Industry of India.

In addressing the queries made, the specialists invited made presentations on The Indian Market Study and discussed the Regulatory Environment, Initiatives and Incentives offered by the Indian Government. A support structure was also discussed by WTC Chandigarh under the Ease of Doing Business initiative. Finally, the One Stop Shop offered by the WTC Chandigarh Team to facilitate these Organizations in all their endeavors.

The event was concluded with a High Tea session.
