Conference on promoting Vietnam – India trade 2022 was held at Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) with the support of World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) on the morning of December 14, 2022. Mr. Nguyen Van Danh – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi- Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City co-chaired this working session, which was held in person and online, with the participation of representatives of 20 Indian businesses and industries ‘associations of Binh Duong Province.

It is an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to connect with 20 Indian ones in many diversified areas, such as agriculture, furniture, pharmaceuticals, textile-garment, steel, packaging…. As a result, it helps Vietnamese businesses expand in the international market, and have a huge contribution to the economic development of both countries.

Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, highly appreciated the socio-economic achievements that Binh Duong Province has made over the past time. He believed that with the available conditions, Binh Duong is a great destination for Indian businesses to invest in and has the potential for further growth in the future.

At the conference, representatives of the province’s leading industries and enterprises introduced their advantages and potential to Indian enterprises; met, exchanged, and learnt to have an effective cooperation and investment direction in the coming time.

The signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between WTC BDNC, WTC Shamshabad, and Binh Duong Center for Trade, Investment Promotion & Industry Development also took place on this occasion.
