The 8^th national festival for innovative startups, TECHFEST VIETNAM 2022 took place successfully from 2^nd to 4^th December 2022 in Binh Duong Province. World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) is delighted to host the remarkable activity at Binh Duong Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC). This event is an honor and a great opportunity for Binh Duong to have more extensive access to the startup ecosystem of Vietnam and developed countries, connecting and attracting international experts and investors to participate in innovative startup activities that are strongly deployed in Binh Duong.

This year's festival has a large scale, with the wide participation of many social factors, especially the participation of businesses to attract more than 8,000 guests who are representatives of start-up communities from 63 provinces of the whole nation and 20 countries in the world. With the theme “Open Innovation Ecosystem – The Next Big Think”, TECHFEST VIETNAM 2022 aims to promote innovative solutions from startups in the age of rapidly developing technology, attract resources of experts, intellectuals, domestic entrepreneurs, and overseas Vietnamese to grow the economy. At the same time, this year TECHFEST wants to inspire, arouse the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship to all classes of people, businesses, and especially the youth and students, following the orientations from the Prime Minister, expressing the great desire for a better and more civilized future.

Especially, the “Key Ceremony of TECHFEST 2022” on the evening of 3^rd December is one of the outstanding and important programs of TECHFEST VIETNAM 2022 with the participation of Mr. Pham Minh Chinh – Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The highlight of this activity is a cooperation agreement signing ceremony between the Bureau of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises and Becamex IDC Corporation on developing an innovative startup ecosystem and support industrial digital transformation. This event once again demonstrates the efforts and companionship of Binh Duong province, Becamex IDC and partners for the startup and innovation community in Vietnam in the journey of transformation under the 4^th industrial revolution.

It is hoped that TECHFEST VIETNAM 2022 - the largest annual event for the innovative startup community in the country - will become a strong platform to promote innovative and technological solutions that Vietnam has advantages and potential in the future to deal with the effects of the pandemic as well as economic recovery, contributing to sustainable development.
