BINH DUONG FDI PROMOTION 2021

In the first period of 2021, despite many difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many foreign investors still accompanied and chose Binh Duong province as an investment location. At the end of May, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee awarded investment certificates to FDI enterprises with a total capital of more than 974 million USD. Accumulated from the beginning of 2021 until now, the province has attracted nearly 1.3 billion USD of FDI, reaching 159% over the same period in 2020.

By investment field, foreign investors have invested in 6 sectors, in which the processing and manufacturing industry continues to be the field that attracts a lot of attention from foreign investors with a total number of foreign investors. investment capital reached 964 million USD, accounting for 77% of total registered investment capital.

After nearly a month of returning to the new normalcy, the business activities of enterprises in industrial parks in Binh Duong quickly reorganized production and business activities, ensuring safety in the future, with COVID-19 prevention and control to regain production targets.

On the upcoming December 9th, the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Duong Province is going to corporate with Binh Duong People’s Committee, Becamex IDC, and World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) to organize the program “Binh Duong FDI Promotion 2021” at Binh Duong Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC). This program is a great opportunity for companies and enterprises to get updated and do business in the “New Normalcy” in Binh Duong, Vietnam. 

The program is organized with the aim of improving provincial competitiveness and continuing to attract and promote FDI in Binh Duong province in the context of the "new normalcy" after the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition, the program also includes 2 online sessions with the European market point (EU) and the Canadian market point, with the theme "Opportunities and potentials for international investors in the context of the New Normalcy in Binh Duong province”. These sessions are conducted for the purpose of introducing projects and plans developed by foreign investors; hosting discussions & seminars to answer the questions of enterprises about foreign direct investment (FDI).
