WTC Bhubaneswar facilitated a virtual meeting between the Handloom Export Promotion Council and the MSME Department, Government of Odisha.

The meeting was attended by Executive Director, Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC) Chennai and a team of senior officials from his team. Special Secretary to Government of Odisha MSME Department Mr. Bibhuti Bhushana Dash presided over the meeting along with his team.

Mr. Sreedhar, ED, HEPC made a detailed presentation on the existing scope of work of HEPC and discussed on how the council could help the State Government in going about in promotion of handloom exports.

Exporters from the State Mr. JP Singh for JP Handloom and Mrs. Jyoshna Das Founder Bivabari also presented their purview on the challenges and the opportunities for Handloom exports from the State.

A detailed and interactive discussion on the way forward between the attendees added much value to the meeting.
