BWTC focuses on the wellbeing of its tenants

Jun 09, 2021

The Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC) and MODA Mall continue to provide the highest level of cleanliness to ensure health and safety procedures are always maintained. Savills who are the appointed Managing Agents continue to work closely with tenants, service providers and dedicated onsite teams to ensure that MODA Mall and the Commercial Office Towers remain a safe working and shopping environment for all.

The continued efforts to follow guidelines as set out by The Ministry of Health and the ongoing communication keeping tenants and customers updated has assisted in the national campaign to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Since the start of the pandemic Savills instigated a policy of social distancing, temperature checks and increased disinfection and sanitisation of public areas, this extended to each of the office facilities with weekly Ultra Low Volume sanitising that reaches the highest areas in the Mall and public areas.

“The safety of everyone is extremely important to us with a dedicated team of trained first aid responders, cleaners, engineers and experienced on site security to not only maintain the prestigious site but to manage potential risks.”, commented Chris Gibson, Deputy General Manager for BWTC and MODA Mall.

BWTC and MODA Mall supports various initiatives and is proud to host social activities that contribute to the local community. Regular lighting of the building is done to show support to various causes like World Cancer Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Domestic Violence Against Women, Autism and Epilepsy Awareness.

The pandemic has emphasised the importance of physical and mental wellbeing and the MODA Mall is proud to have a selection of tenants who promote healthy eating options, such as Mana Café, Maki, Layali Abdul Wahab, Kunefeci, Healthy Calorie and Live Healthy (opening soon). MODA Mall spans across 16,500 square metres and is the perfect space to get in your daily steps whilst doing some retail therapy.
