WTC Navi Mumbai successfully organised a Workshop on “Success in Export Business “ on November 8 , 2017 . The Workshop was organised in the context of India’s declining exports and need to arrest this trend . Around 50 participants took advantage of the workshop .
WTC Navi Mumbai Advisor , Jayant Ghate in his welcome address explained the need of the workshop and highlighted the effective roles played by WTCs and the parent body WTCA NY in promoting Prosperity Through Trade and Investment. He encouraged the participants to become members of the WTC and have access to the entire world for their business development at global level.
Nakul Bagkar , a well-known Expert on India’s Exports and Imports was the key speaker and faculty for the Workshop. He asked the participants to join the exporting community successfully and shared his practical knowledge and experiences in a forceful manner. He explained the government export policy & procedures , incentives , market and buyer identification , export services role ( banking , shipping etc. ) . He effectively involved the participants in the program by asking questions and seeking answers from them.
Other Guest Speakers at the Workshop included Harshwadan Parikh MD of Hardchem Electronics Group and Jayesh Khade of Indo Global Chamber. They spoke on Export Promotion and Online Export Marketing respectively.
WTC Navi Mumbai also helped the National Small Industries Corporation ( NSIC – Govt.of India Enterprise ) in successfully organising its seminar on November 14, 2017 in the WTC premises. Seminar theme was NSIC Schemes and Benefits for MSMEs and how to utilise these. Jayant Ghate WTC Advisor addressed the participants and referred to the services and facilities of WTC that can be of use to them. WTCA Video was shown to the participants on this occasion.
