MANILA, PHILIPPINES - WTC China (Beijing) delegation led by Vice Chairman Zhang Yanfei took part in the 46th General Assembly of WTCA at WTC Metro Manila this April. The delegation consisted of WTC China Assistant General Manager Ms. Qian Xiaojin, Deputy General Manager of China World Hotel(a property owned by WTC China) Mr. Xie Hua, and Deputy General Manager of China World Summit Wing (a property owned by WTC China) Mr. Zhong Yong, etc.

During the GA, WTC China Vice Chairman Mr. Zhang Yanfei had a brief discussion with WTCA Chairman Mr. Ghazi Abu Nahl on the cooperation and exchange between WTC China and WTCA head office as well as other WTC members. In particular, the two sides reached strategic consensus on the MOU to be signed between China World Property & Hotel Management Company (a subsidiary of WTC China) and the WTCA Hong Kong Subsidiary. 

In addition, the WTC China delegation visited WTC Sharjah (i.e., Expo Center Sharjah), a well-established WTC in the Gulf area. Thanks to the assistance of WTCA Beijing Representative Office, the delegation was warmly received by CEO of WTC Sharjah Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa. The two sides will explore business opportunities in international exhibitions and other sectors under the background of China’s “One Belt One Road” development strategy.
