GMIS Connect – Trieste  will bring together thought leaders, government officials, and industry experts from Italy and the United Arab Emirates to highlight the opportunities in decarbonising the manufacturing sector and the role of green hydrogen in powering sustainable manufacturing. The event aligns with the shared mission of the United Arab Emirates and Italy to implement an economy-wide reduction in emissions and combat climate change.

The event is organized by GMIS in collaboration with the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, UNIDO ITPO Italy, Confindustria, World Trade Center Trieste, University of Trieste, National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS), the International Foundation of Trieste (FIT), and The Laboratory on Quantitative Sustainability (TLQS), and aims to promote the use of green hydrogen in various sectors of the economy.
