PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA - Pennsylvania companies interested in selling their goods and services overseas can learn about the business development resources available to them and network with Pennsylvania’s Authorized Trade Representatives from around the world during the Bringing the World to PA Tour September 12–23, 2016.
Bringing the World to PA, formerly called Pennsylvania International Week, started as a week‐long event, but was expanded to 10 days in response to its popularity with Pennsylvania’s business community. The events are coordinated in partnership with the Regional Export Network (REN) across Pennsylvania.
This year, the event will be held in 10 different locations across the state. At each location, Pennsylvania’s Authorized Trade Representatives (ATRs) will meet one‐on‐one with Pennsylvania companies seeking foreign market intelligence, agents and distributor candidates, and industry and government contacts, as well as on‐the‐ground assistance when visiting these markets. Events will also include a series of presentations, seminars, and networking events for businesses.
During the week, the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP), arranges meetings between export-ready Southeastern Pennsylvania companies and these trade representatives to discuss specific market opportunities. As the Regional Export Network (REN) representative in Southeastern Pennsylvania, WTCGP, which organizes this event for the Greater Philadelphia region, supports the Commonwealth's efforts to grow international trade.
Bringing the World to PA culminates with Global Connections, The Greater Philadelphia International Reception . Recognized as the regions leading international business reception and networking event, the international reception brings together the global business, diplomatic and academic communities to showcase the international vitality of the region and celebrate Greater Philadelphia as a world-class international business destination.
The WTCGP and Pennsylvania's Authorized Trade Representatives (ATRs) can provide international trade and export counselling, conduct customized research, identify distributors and overseas partners set buyer appointments at trade shows and do much more to solve your company's immediate global challenges. Take your business to the world!
