The Pacific Alliance is a mechanism for regional integration and economic between Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, which seeks to create a space of deep integration to move towards the free circulation of goods, services, capital and persons; promote higher growth, development and competitiveness of the economies that comprise it.
The Pacific Alliance is considered the "most ambitious integration proposal in decades." Which has made important advances, generating economic growth and opportunities for members of the 4 countries. The population of the four member countries sums approximately 216.3 million people, about 37% of the population in Latin America and the Caribbean, making it the fifth most populous in the world subregion.
