Brigitta Miranda-Freer

Brigitta Miranda-Freer, Executive Director, Montana World Trade Center

As executive director of the Montana World Trade Center, Brigitta and her team work to strengthen Montana business through international trade. Specifically, MWTC provides prescriptive export strategies, lead generation, project management, export training seminars, inbound and outbound trade missions, as well as export education and hands-on student engagement in day-to-day issues of international business.

Prior to her work at MWTC, Brigitta served as business development director for Missoula Economic Partnership where she was responsible for business expansion and recruitment efforts as well as special projects such as Innovation Initiative and MEP’s Angel Network. Earlier in her career, Brigitta worked as membership services manager for MWTC and in international sales and marketing for Winner International. She has been engaged in international trade either on her own or by assisting clients for over 20 years.

Brigitta has earned B.A.s at American University, Washington, D.C. in International Affairs and Spanish Latin American Area Studies and a M.B.A. from the University of Montana.
