Dr. Alleva Cáceres is CEO of Market Access International, Inc., an international trade, investment and enterprise growth consulting practice she founded in 1997. For over 20 years her work assignments have led her around the world from Malta and Newfoundland to Kyrgyzstan and Argentina. She is also a Lecturer and Research Associate at Georgia Tech, and, a frequent speaker at major international trade and investment conferences.
Previously, Dr. Alleva Cáceres was the Senior Business Advisor for North Africa and the Middle East at the USAID’s Center for Trade and Investment Services. She also served as Senior International Trade Specialist for the Australian Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. where she helped secure over US$400 million dollars in contracts for Australian firms interested in World Bank Group and United Nations funded infrastructure projects. She has also worked in the Asia Program of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the World Technology Foundation.
She is the Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors at the World Trade Center Atlanta, Chair of World Trade Day in Georgia, and Immediate Past-President of the Graduate Studies Advisory Board at the College of William and Mary where she received a BA in Economics and MA in Government. Dr. Alleva Cáceres obtained a PhD in International Affairs, Science and Technology from Georgia Tech.
Dr. Alleva Cáceres is an elected Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the International Women’s Forum and recently, the Society of International Business Fellows.
