Trip Tollison serves as the President and CEO of the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) and World Trade Center Savannah, a division of SEDA. He oversees all components that make up the organization including Business Development, World Trade Center Savannah and SEDA Innovations.
Before joining SEDA, Tollison served as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah in Savannah, Georgia, U.S. While at the Chamber, he was responsible for the governmental affairs, military, manufacturing, workforce development and other community aspects of the Chamber. He also directed the membership functions.
Tollison received his degree from the School of Public and International Affairs from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, U.S. Upon graduation, he served as an aide in Georgia and Washington, D.C. for United States Senator Sam Nunn. Afterward, he went on to work as an aide to U.S. Congressman Jack Kingston in Washington, D.C. and in Coastal Georgia.
Tollison is active with several community organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors of USO Savannah, Herty Advanced Materials Development Center, Savannah Harbor Foundation, Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, Second Harvest Food Bank and the United Way of the Coastal Empire. He is also the Honorary Small Wing Commander for the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, and is a graduate of Leadership Savannah and Leadership Georgia.
