Joyce Tang, Director, World Trade Center Vancouver

Joyce Tang has more than fifteen years' work experience as an entrepreneur and business management professional. Her expertise includes process improvement, change management, facilitation, customer service, sales, manufacturing, and negotiation.

Joyce's passion for business management began in 2002 when she started importing and exporting. She is currently pursuing her passion by assisting businesses to expand internationally through her current role with the World Trade Centre Vancouver for the Province of British Columbia's Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) and eCommerce Essentials for Exporters Program. She supports over 200 B.C. companies in their international expansion to over 44 countries. The average export revenue increase for graduates after 12 months has been over 28% and CAD 1 million per company.

Fluent in English and Mandarin. Over 800 hours of volunteer experience in Canada. Self-motivated, detail orientated and committed to continue learning. In addition to being a business management professional, Joyce has been a certified yoga instructor since 2009. She creates a safe, fun, and inspiring environment for yoga practice.

In China, she previously owned a cosmetics shop, a real estate company and served as a deputy general manager for a manufacturing firm for six years. She led business and organization process change/improvement projects throughout her career.
