WTI Commences 69th Batch of PGDFT

World Trade Institute, the education vertical of the World Trade Center Mumbai commenced its 69th online batch of the flagship course Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade on January 14, 2025, which is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30 – 8.30 pm for a span of four months.

The objective of the course is to skill entrepreneurs and stakeholders across trade and industry so that they can contribute to the nation’s vision of USD 1 trillion merchandise exports by 2030. Indian government is actively promoting exports from MSMEs, start-ups and women entrepreneurs through its ambitious initiatives such as District as Export Hubs, Production Linked Incentive Schemes and through other measures such as signing new free trade agreements with promising export destinations. 

The role of small-scale entrepreneurs is very important in attaining this vision and the course curriculum and training modules are so designed to impart critical skills on young entrepreneurs to participate in India’s export vision. The course trains aspiring and existing exporters to foray into the global markets by identifying potential export destination, managing complex EXIM documentations, deftly handling logistics procedures, and benefiting from government schemes. The curriculum is meticulously designed to combine foundational theory with critical skills to handle real-world challenges. 

The training imparted is specialised and participants who are either export-ready or mid-career professionals or aspiring exporter/importer can experience a personal learning experience with one-to-one interaction with trainers . The faculty are well qualified and having rich industry experience. Participants are taught through case studies and real-time experience.
