World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) was awarded the Best Established MICE Venue & Special Event at the Tourism Industry Awards 2025 (TIA 2025) held on 9th August 2025 at Sunway Resort Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The award was presented by YB Dato' Ng Suee Lim (Selangor's EXCO for Local Government and Tourism), Puan Chua Yee Ling (CEO of Tourism Selangor) and Dato’ Emmy Suraya Hussein (Organising Chairman of TIA 2025). Â
TIA 2025 is organized by the Malaysia International Tourism Development Association (MiTDA) in collaboration with Tourism Selangor and Santai Travel Magazine that aims to recognize industry players who have elevated standards in delivering outstanding, holistic, and inclusive tourism experiences in Malaysia. The TIA 2025 was graced with the presence of YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin bin Shari (Selangor Chief Minister) and YB Dato Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib (Deputy Minister of Economy).
