WTCGP Member Bassetts Opens First Store in Seoul
Bassetts Ice Cream Company, a fifth-generation family business since 1861, has successfully opened its first store in Seoul, South Korea and is looking to open an additional 30 stores within this year. Bassetts Ice Cream, located in Philadelphia, is a full-service frozen dessert distributor, offering over 100 flavors.
Dale Foote, WTCGP Trade Specialist began working with Bassetts Ice Cream in 2008.
"We are very appreciative of all of the support we received from the PA OIBD, WTCGP and the City of Philadelphia, among many others, for helping us open our first retail store in S. Korea," said Michael Strange, President, Bassetts Ice Cream. "
