WTC Tampa Bay Welcomes New Team Members

TAMPA BAY, FL, USA - The World Trade Center Tampa Bay is excited to announce and welcome Karl Kaliebe as its new Executive Director, Dr. Ken Lin as Managing Director, and Meredith Cernuda as Membership and Communications Coordinator

Karl Kaliebe’s responsibilities will include managing the overall operations of the World Trade Center Tampa office. Kaliebe has over 10 years of experience in the Asia Pacific market, including Taiwan and China. His extensive knowledge in oversea sales, logistics, and international business makes him an asset to WTC-TB. Karl is a Tampa Native and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Ken Lin will oversee the expansion of The WTCTB’s international relations and business affairs. Dr. Lin brings vast business knowledge from the States and abroad. He holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University in Environmental Science and has provided trade consulting services in Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and U.S. Dr. Lin is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Meredith Cernuda will join the organization to further develop its membership portfolio as well as offer support to its management team. Cernuda received her communications degree from Tulane University and offers experience in community relations and public relations. Meredith is also a Tampa native.

Sokha Im was promoted to Project and Events Manager and will oversee the WTCTB’s regional and international projects. Sokha has over 5 years invested into the organization and is a graduate from the University of South Florida in Marketing and International Business. She is fluent in Cambodian and English.

The WTC-Tampa Bay is located in one of the most metropolitan areas in the Southeast with a population over 2.7 million.
