WTC Taipei and WTC Moscow to Further Cooperation

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - World Trade Center Taipei recently welcomed the delegation from World Trade Center Moscow (WTC Moscow), and started their three-day visit in Taipei on March 3, 2015.

WTC Taipei Chairman Francis Liang hosted a dinner in Taipei to welcome the representatives from WTC Moscow, and they discussed the future cooperation possibilities between the two organizations. For the three-day schedule, WTC Taipei organized events and meetings that introduced the representatives to Taiwan’s government officials and industry leaders. In particular, WTC Taipei held “The Russian & CEE Markets Seminar” where the representatives from WTC Moscow spoke to a large local audience of over 200 businesspeople. The representatives shared with the audience the promising future prospects of the Russian and CEE markets and introduced to them the comprehensive services of WTC Moscow that could help them tap into the regional markets.

 The forum generated overwhelming business interest among the audience, and the representatives offered further helpful insight into doing business in the markets during the question and answer session.During their stay in Taiwan, the representatives also visited the government officals, the Hsinchu Science Park, one of the largest LEDs manufactures, and the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei. They had fruitful discussions with all the parties they met with and were delighted about the outcome of the meetings.

The WTC Moscow representatives also had a tour of the venues and facilities of WTC Taipei where they were presented with an overview of WTC Taipei’s services and operations.At the welcoming dinner, WTC Taipei’s Chairman Francis Liang remarked that the comprehensive services and operations of WTC Moscow were excellent references for WTC Taipei to model after. In order to deepen mutual cooperation and exchange, both WTCs have expressed their interest to work closer together and ink a memorandum of understanding in the near future.
