Nov 29, 2024

World Trade Center Pune hosts an exclusive networking event for Norwegian Delegates. World Trade Center Pune recently organized a networking event for Norwegian delegates to explore transformative business opportunities. This strategic gathering provided a unique opportunity to explore potential business partnerships and collaborations.

India's collaboration with Norway is expected to yield numerous benefits. Norway's expertise in sustainable technologies, such as renewable energy and green shipping, can support India's transition to a low-carbon economy. India recently signed a Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). The EFTA today includes four non-EU countries — Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

The agreement stands as a potential game-changer for both parties, promising economic growth, job opportunities and strengthening bilateral relations

The event featured presentations from member partners including:

- Nirantara Ecoventure: WTC Unified Sustainable Platform

- NLB and Meraqui: Talent Solutions Platform

- First Rate Wealth Tech: World-Class Accelerator Platform

- Lex Visas: Global Visa Solutions Platform

The event's highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Norway India Chamber of Commerce (NICCI), marking a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral business ties. Special thanks to Trond Skundberg, CEO and Helge Tryti, Chair from Norway India Chamber of Commerce and Rajeev Leher for connecting and making this event happen.
