WTC Navi Mumbai Webinar on Money Management

WTC Navi Mumbai successfully organized a Webinar on the Theme “Money Management during Pandemic” on July 10, 2020. It was attended by about 65 participants from industry and services sector.

Guest Speakers included Mr. Anand Rathi Chairman of well-known Anand Rathi Group of Companies, Mr. Feroze Azeez Deputy CEO of Anand Rathi Wealth Management Company and Dr. R Gopal Director of D Y Patil University School of Management Navi Mumbai.

Mr. Jayant Ghate Advisor WTC Navi Mumbai welcomed the participants and explained the importance of Webinar Theme. He highlighted important issues at stake and also introduced the Guest speakers.

In his opening remarks Mr. Anand Rathi expressed optimism and supported the government measures of economic revival. He felt that things are improving and very soon we should recover and return to normal. Agriculture and rural development, FDI and Entrepreneurial Spirit are plus points for India. He expected more reforms by the government to come very soon.

Mr. Feroze Azeez gave several tips to manage portfolios effectively. He explained principles of Wealth Management like Objectives, Strategies, Implementation and Good MIS. He also addressed the issues in wealth management such as Risk Measurement, Value Creation and Transparency and gave several examples and cases to underline importance of his arguments and answered the questions as well.

Dr. Gopal touched upon changes taking place and impact on Global Environments, Indian Environments and Wealth Management because of Pandemic. He identified the growth sectors in industry and services as well as the roles of China and USA in the immediate future. He expressed that by end-2021 things should become normal.
