An orientation workshop for Start-ups was organised by Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC) in association with World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai and All India Association of Industries on October 12, 2017 at WTC Mumbai. The objective of the workshop was to accelerate startup participation for the upcoming India International Trade Fair (IITF). The workshop was conducted by Mr. Shivaji R. Daund, IAS, Managing Director, MSSIDC, where more than 100 startups across Maharashtra participated in the workshop.

Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC) will be representing the Government of Maharashtra, and will be organising the Maharashtra Pavilion at the IITF.

This year the theme is ‘Start-ups’ with a view to promote them considering their sizable contribution to the overall economic growth. This is an excellent opportunity for startups to showcase and market their products and services to various state governments, overseas investors and all attendees to the event. MSSIDC will offer a stall free of cost and will assist in travel and accommodation to shortlisted startups.
