WTC Moscow hosts Global Event Awards

MOSCOW, RUSSIA On December 2 the renovated Continental Banquet Hall of the World Trade Center Moscow hosted a Global Event Awards ceremony. “Wedding to Come project “A Sky for Two” came out the winner in the nomination “The Year’s Best Wedding.”

Organizers of the “Wedding to Come” combined motifs of the four countries most popular among newlyweds in the festivity decorations: Italy, France, the Maldives and Russia. Four completely different visual images became the key art objects of the festivity, and they were mixed into one harmonious concept. The guests of the ceremony found themselves in a real beach and in a skating rink. The wedding decorations were prepared by 30 decorators and 80 technical specialists, and 10,000 live flowers, 3,000 meters of fabrics and 3 tons of sand were used in the project.

Some time ago the “A Sky for Two” project gained recognition as the biggest wedding ceremony, in the opinion of “2015 Golden Puzzle: The Best Event Project,” a national prize for event planners. 

The Global Event Awards is an international award for the best event agencies of CIS countries, set up in 2013 by organizers of national event prizes of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The purpose of the award is to draw the communication community’s attention to the industry of event technologies in the post-Soviet space and to consolidate the common market of event services.
