WTC Las Vegas to Welcome SIAL America in 2022

Dec 29, 2021

Emerald Holding, Inc. and Comexposium recently announced they will join forces in a strategic partnership to launch SIAL America at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), which is also the World Trade Center Las Vegas (WTCLV). SIAL America is expected to be the first large-scale, generalist food show focused on supporting the $1.5 trillion food and beverage market.

Las Vegas was selected as the first U.S. market for the 50-year old show due to its appeal as a top trade show destination, having been named the number one trade show destination in North America for 26 consecutive years by Trade Show News Network.

“We are excited to welcome SIAL America to Las Vegas for its inaugural show in the U.S.,” said Brian Yost, chief operating officer of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, which owns and operates the LVCC/WTCLV facility. “SIAL’s arrival reinforces Las Vegas’ position as a premiere culinary destination with world-class restaurants and dining experiences. We look forward to providing the show’s organizers, exhibitors and attendees with an experience that can only be found here.”

SIAL America is planned to launch at the LVCC/WTCLV March 22 – 24, 2022 and will be co-located with Emerald’s International Pizza Expo and International Artisan Bakery Expo. SIAL America is expected to include products from the following categories: Organic & Wellness, Beverages, Grocery, Sweets & Bakery, Fruits & Vegetables, Seafood, Dairy Products, Frozen Foods, Snack Foods, and Meats.

The LVCC/WTCLV has had a longtime partnership with Emerald, regularly hosting approximately ten shows each year including International Pizza Expo, ASD Market Week, Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show and the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show.
