Addressing over 180 startup aficionados, many looking forward to start up with their own ventures in the early stages of their life, Mr. Dr. Rajiv Jain- Director- JECRC Foundation, Mr. Akhilesh Trivedi, Founder & CEO- StartupCheers, Mr. Sourabh Malpani, C.A. and financial Controller, Mr. Abhay Deep Mishra- Director- Workmate Technologies shared the from their exemplary industry experience importance of careful due diligence at every stage right from innovative ideation of a thought, financial modelling and social media marketing to ensure the product / service reaches a larger audience and ultimately makes its way to international market.
Earlier, welcoming all the participants Dr. Rajiv Jain said “ for a startup to be successful, all three vital ingredients are necessary in today’s dynamics , mentor, finance advisor and social media expert, you need them all as indispensable partners who will ensure your success in commercial and social context.”
Mr. Akhilesh said “What makes mentors and advisors such a crucial part of the equation for startups is, there is usually a tendency to assume that your grit and hard work are sufficient to drive the success of your startup. While these things can take you far, they're surely not a substitute for the experiential knowledge that comes from vast learnings of the mentors. Hence surrounding yourself with the right people, at the right time can be instrumental for the growth of your idea and its timely success.”
Mr. Sourabh said “once the first round of angel funding is secured, internal monitoring is a must. As an alternate, like many great startups bootstrapping is dependable to avoid sleepless nights by doing away with stringent compliance requirements of Investors looking for early ROI”
Mr. Abhay quoted “ social media has changed the way business in done, you can test your idea in no time, get reliable feedback and all this is a low cost method to ubiquitously followed .”
Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Navneet Agarwal, Assistant Director, WTC Jaipur.
