WTC Jaipur, online business registration workshop

Jaipur | Rajasthan WTC Jaipur in association with DigiLearnings organized a workshop on online business registrations in Jaipur on 31st July at conference hall of DigiLearnings, Shree Gopal Nagar.
Facilitator to the session Mr. Pulkit Khandelwal, C.A., C.S., Director , S.K. Prolific Solutions Private Limited said “ The startup ecosystem in India has been witnessing an roller-coaster growth in India backed by increasing smartphone and internet penetration. With further increase in internet service providers and the launch of 3G and 4G services, the e-commerce, m-commerce & service industries are set to record even higher growth.”

Mr. Pulkit drew attention to the licensing requirements and legal obligations to be fulfilled prior to commencing an online business and said “ compliance of online businesses in India vary as per your business model. While starting an online venture it good to have a private company or LLP to have limited liability protection and improve the ease of doing business”.
He further added “ The legal requirements for undertaking an online business in India also involve compliance with other laws like contract law, Indian penal code, etc. Further, online shopping in India also involves compliance with the banking and financial norms applicable in India. In certain cases, compliance with labor laws is also required. It is recommended that all online business entrepreneurs and owners must do a proper techno legal due diligence before opening any website.”
On IPR Mr. Khandelwal explained “If any content or a logo/design is used, it is very important to get the necessary Intellectual Property rights protection. It is very easy to copy a logo from a website, and unless one takes precautions, the business will have no effective remedy if someone copies it later.”

The session was well attended by over 40 participants with keen internet to venture into online marketing space.
