WTC Jaipur hosts Organic Lunch

In a first of its kind, WTC Jaipur hosted organic lunch in the presence of Mr. Vijay Kalantri, , Vice – Chairman, World Trade Centre Mumbai & Director, World Trade Centre, New York. The lunch was attended and savored by more than 2000 distinguished guests from all over the state of Rajasthan.
This was an occasion which bringing together the organic flavors of Rajasthan, spread the idea of adapting organic and vegetarian lifestyle in one’s family. Hosted in the sprawling lawns of Entertainment Paradise, Jawahar Circle, in the heart of Jaipur, dignitaries enjoyed the winter sunshine and interacting with Mr. Kamal Morarka, Chairman, World Trade Centre Mumbai and Mr. Vijay Kalantri and enjoyed traditional Rajasthani cuisines.
Organic farming as a technique, involves cultivation of plants in natural ways. This process involves the use of biological materials, avoiding synthetic substances to maintain soil fertility and ecological balance thereby minimizing pollution and wastage. In other words, organic farming is a farming method that involves growing and nurturing crops without the use of synthetic based fertilizers and pesticides. Also, no genetically modified organisms are permitted.
Mr. Kalantri, on the occasion also met with senior officials from the Government of Rajasthan and appraised them of various programs hosted at WTC Mumbai and Jaipur . He also conveyed his regards to Commissioner Industries, Government of Rajasthan & Bureau of Investments, Udyog Bhawan for their recent participation to World Trade Expo Mumbai, hosted in the month of November 2017. The officials were also briefed about the recent foreign delegation and hosting of conference to WTO Forum, Geneva, Switzerland ,led by Mr. Kalantri and Ms. Rupa Naik , Senior Director, World Trade Centre Mumbai.
The gusted gracing the events expressed huge praise and wished to attend the same next year as well.
