WTC Chandigarh & IFCOMA to work in synergy

CHANDIGARH, INDIA - In a recent business meeting with The Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association (IFCOMA), Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India; Ms. Khair Ull Nissa Sheikh- Executive Director of WTC Chandigarh and VERBIND- its Trade Services Arm; met with Mr. S.K Verma-the Deputy Director to discuss varied prospects for various fruitful initiatives in the Footwear Sector and boosting the manufacturers & exporters potential in the country and abroad.

Envisaging to improve market access to the highest possible level, WTC Chandigarh will work in tandem with IFCOMA; by extending all possible support to its Footwear Components Manufacturers & Exporters and achieve beneficial results through facilitation and extension of trade services through VERBIND; the Integrated Trade Facilitation Arm of WTC Chandigarh. Both the parties will collaborate in upcoming events/ symposiums; to explain the potential and services of World Trade Center in enhancing and scaling up business and investment promotion. as well facilitating the exporters in expanding their business outside India.

Leveraging WTC Chandigarh & VERBIND’s connect with 330 WTCs around the world; to act as a conduit while providing access to international trade and investment opportunities, the officials deliberated over various matters that would help boost and foster exports and investments in the Footwear sector and of the members of IFCOMA.
